These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Woven ("Woven," "we," "us") governing your use of wovenmemories.com and the Woven service (the "Service"). By creating a gallery, uploading content, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using Woven you represent that you meet these requirements.
Gallery owners sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for activity in your galleries and for keeping your access secure. Because Woven galleries are accessible to anyone who holds the share link, you are responsible for deciding whom to share links with.
You and your contributors retain ownership of the photos, videos, and text you upload ("Your Content"). By uploading, you grant Woven a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you — for example, to generate your slideshow, create thumbnails, and display your gallery to people you share it with. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for copies retained as described in our Privacy Policy or required by law.
You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to upload Your Content and to grant the license above, including any rights of the people depicted where required. You agree not to:
We may remove content, withhold content from a gallery, or suspend access that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or the law.
Contributors add content without creating an account, using a gallery's share link. Contributors agree to these Terms when they upload. A gallery owner and approved co-hosts may remove or manage contributor content within their gallery.
Uploaded images are automatically screened. Apparent child sexual abuse material is removed and reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by law. Other sensitive content may be withheld pending owner review.
Some features require a paid plan. Prices and plan features are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms. Unless required by law or expressly stated, payments are non-refundable. We may change prices and features prospectively; changes will not affect a purchase you have already completed. If you believe a refund is warranted, contact us at support@wovenmemories.com and we will review your request on a case-by-case basis.
Uploading to a gallery may close after a set window based on your plan, and generated files and download archives are temporary. We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may modify or discontinue features. Please keep your own copies of important photos and videos.
The Service, including its software, design, and the Woven name and logo, is owned by Woven and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any rights in Woven's intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as permitted here.
The Service relies on third parties (including Google, Stripe, and Resend). Your use of the Service may also be subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT CONTENT WILL NOT BE LOST.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WOVEN AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, CONTENT, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD $50.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Woven from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of others.
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your gallery at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or others. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 3–4 and 9–16) will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The state and federal courts located in California will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
